I’m voting unsure, since Xp and cash earning is pretty dependent on the outcome of the match, and how much dmg you do. Probably wasn't needed but I suppose the low tier BB's are so bad it might have been putting a large part of the player base off. WG made the low tiers quite easier to grind through. I assume they are either naturally good enough to play TX, or they get the wonga out and use free xp.

There are some people that grind their first TX in less than 1000 battles. Most people with not a lot of spare time are still going to take a lot of time to get their first TX. I couldn't even imagine the grind required to get 1 TX in WoT. I voted no, since there are a lot of ship lines to grind to get a good TX selection for clan battles.
